Palouse Mall proudly presents an exciting new Landscape Plan for its State Highway 8/Pullman Road frontage.
This comprehensive layout also includes improvements and additions along Farm Road, behind Office Depot and Hastings, and to the interior parking lot. The plan compliments last year's changes to the parking lot and recent and future landscaping projects of the University of Idaho.
The project features a winding walkway throughout and transforms the aging landscape into an attractive, colorful gateway to the City of Moscow. When completed, the changes will add around 850 shrubs and 90 trees to enhance the quality of life in Moscow.
Reaching for a Higher Quality of Life
Palouse Mall is striving to improve its presence in the community by:
- Transforming a worn out landscape into a colorful City gateway
- Providing a one-mile pedestrian and bike path with potential to feed into Chipman Trail
- Improving visibility of Mall entrances for pedestrian and vehicle safety
- Adding approximately 850 shrubs and 90 trees to the urban forest
- Screening previously prominent side and service areas and utility stations - Increasing screening of the Mall as a whole
- Providing improved access from a covered bus stop to pedestrian and bike paths
- Offering a more pleasant shopping environment for Mall customers
